First Meeting of the Special COMESA Ministerial Sub-committee on EPA

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Patrick PILLAY, accompanied by his Special Adviser, Miss Vivianne FOCK-TAVE, and Mr Charles MORIN, Director General for Trade in the Ministry of Finance and Trade, attended the First Meeting of the Special COMESA Ministerial Sub-committee on Economic Partnership Agreement, which was held on 10th February 2008 in Lusaka, Zambia.

ASSESSMENT OF THE STATE OF GOOD GOVERNANCE IN SEYCHELLES

A validation workshop for the draft 2007 Report, "Assessing the State of Good Governance in the Republic of Seychelles" was organized on Monday 18th February 2008 at the International Conference Centre, Victoria. The objective of the workshop was for public, private and NGO stakeholders to collectively validate the report which will then be submitted to the UNECA.

TRAVEL INFORMATION



14 small airports, the most important being Point Larue, 10 kms from Victoria, on Mahe island. Roads are surfaced in Mahe, plus a small section on Praslin. The main port is in Victoria. Mahe offers regular bus service , whereas Praslin has a limited service.
